While the cost of living is a bit higher here than in other cities, wages are a bit higher as well. The average weekly wage is about £200 or so higher than other areas.
Sydney
It seems that everyone wants to live in Sydney and why wouldn’t they? This lovely city is a hub for tourism and business and is world renowned for its beaches and opera house. Sydney offers a fair cost of living, falling well below that of Canberra and its weekly wages are about average with the rest of the country coming in at about £900 or more per week.
Melbourne
Melbourne has a rather high population but is the best choice for those who want to live surrounded by cafes, boutiques and the world of art. Many consider Melbourne to be the sports capital of Australia and it offers job growth and a booming economy.
Yamba
Yamba is located in New South Wales and is a small town with much to offer. With more than 10 beautiful beaches, all of which remain un-crowded on any given day, this small town is considered one of the top choices for Australian relocation. The town offers much with regards to economy and employment and offers a small village atmosphere that many find appealing.
