About

Hi, thanks for stopping by Hotels & Resorts Online,

My name is Charlene and I am a travel blogger from the UK. Hotels & Resorts Online is an all-encompassing blog where I blog about my time travelling the world. From the UK to Australia and everything in between, join me as a take-off on my next adventure.

Hotels & Resorts Online started almost six years ago when I went on my first solo travelling expedition to Thailand and as a way of keeping my friends and family informed of my time, I created a blog. I really enjoyed the process of putting my time into a diary and sharing my pictures with the world, because I knew that I’d look back on them once I got home.

This continued to grow and I as I started to travel more, I started to blog more and Hotels & Resorts Online because what it is today.

I am proud to say that I am now a full-time travel blogger and consider myself extremely lucky to be doing such an incredible ‘job’ – I still struggle to call it a job because it’s nothing like work!

I am originally from a small town in Wales but after university, I moved to Manchester to enjoy a bit of city life. as much as I love the countryside and always hunt out the best spots when travelling, there is nothing quite like the city! My current favourites are Paris, Tokyo and Madrid, but this changes monthly so if you want to keep up to date with my best spots, then get following me.

There are all kinds of articles about things to do, places to visit, where to stay, where & what to eat/drink and much more, I don’t have strict rules when it comes to what I’m blogging about, it’s basically just what comes into my head but it works well for me.

As much as I like to travel as much as I can, I’m also aware that I’m not superwoman so I regularly welcome guest posts from other keen travellers who are exploring the world.

From travel essentials you can’t live without to hidden gems you think my readers have to know about, I’d love to hear your guest post suggestions and host your blogs on Hotels & Resorts Online.

If you would like to become a contributor, then please click here and ensure you follow all of my rules for submitting content.

If you have a question for me, want to know more about my adventures or simply want to find out what my dog is called (it’s Marley by the way) then please do not hesitate to get in touch. I welcome all questions and comments so please don’t be shy.

Happy travels!

Charlene
