V Festival is actually held at two different venues over the course of two days, with the musical acts swapping over to play at each. Originally started as a rock festival, the event has grown and now attracts a great mix of visitors, both young and older. Great for a spot of family camping as well, this festival gives everyone something to enjoy.
You can’t have a list of the best UK festivals and shows without having Glastonbury on there. Started in 1970, Glastonbury includes dance, drama, circus and theatre acts as well as great music. This year’s headlines will be legendary rockers The Rolling Stones and British-American rock band Fleetwood Mac.
